...And that's exactly what the millions of people who watch them want to see.Change the formula and most would be disappointed.
People like the familiarity. It's comfortable. You know exactly what you're buying.

James Bond - the most predictable formulaic film structure series ever.
5-10. Set the theme of the film with something BIG / introduce the conflict with the villain.
Act 1. The setup. Throw in some bird he can chase throughout.Bit of a catch up to what Bond is up to recently. The fucking maverick. Begin the chase of the bad guy. Make out it's a hit or miss situation for him. Cos Bond might come unstuck you know....make sure all the main character have been introduced before....
Act 2. The conflict hots up, seemingly comes to a head. Throw in a false victory here. Fool the naive cinema goers...clever stuff. Cos they might actually believe the film might end after 60-70 minutes! Bond might even look like he might be brown bread at some stage. Oh no, how can that be...there's still a long way to go yet, don't worry.
Act 3. Bond ends up getting his man...and woman. Might have a choice between birds he's after too. One slag was a bit of a cunt, you just know he won't end up with her though, there's a few give away looks she makes to the camera you see.... and the other next door type of girl, yeah that's the one for Bond, safe option that. Oh and make sure when he get's to this stage catching the bad guy that there's no weapons around, probably a bit of knuckle on knuckle between the two....but his death is going to be HUGE. What a death! I didn't see it coming. Bond wins...again.
Litter the film with 'cool' gadgets, explosions, and bond ploughing through henchmen unrealistically.
What a load of bollox. Absolute toilet.

Skyfall was a load of guff. Not interested in Bond's back story. Just get him into the action killing loads of people and fucking birds.

Thought this would be a thread about everyone's favourite American. Still remember him, Obinna and Cole in the snow against United.
